Shelter Our Sisters has received several grants.  The Avon Foundation awarded $5,000 to support the Transitional Housing Program; the Church of the Atonement provided $1,200 for the Transition Housing Program; the Columbia Bank Foundation gave more than $11,000 to purchase a van for SOS' Project CHILD Art Therapy Program; e Elsal USA Foundation provided $2,500 to support the Children''s Art Therapy Program at the shelter; River Church of Cresskill donated $3,000 for the emergency shelter; the Lillian P. Schenck Foundation awarded $10,000 for the Transitional Housing Program and the TJX Foundation gave $5,000 toward the emergency shelter.
