Group Activities for Organizations

• On-call movers to assist picking up donated furniture and/or helping clients move.
  
  
• Coordinate a fundraiser.
  
  
• Adopt a family - assist a family who is moving on (to either Transitional Housing or their own apartment) with new, practical household items.
  
  
• Adopt a room - paint and furnish a room in one of our homes.
  
  
• Bring a prepared meal for approximately 30 women and children.
  
  
• Host or throw a party for the children and/or women.
  
  
• Coordinate a collection of new items such as food, paper goods, cleaning supplies, linens, towels, bedding, and other necessary supplies.
  
  
• Donate money to emergency fund; i.e. medications, childcare, transportation, etc. Or support a specific shelter program or need.
  
  
• Assist with Annual June Picnic preparation and activities.
  
  
• Assist with fundraising activities; i.e. gift-wrapping events, ticket sales, walk-a-thon, etc.
  
  
• Assist with seasonal house freshening; i.e. landscaping and painting.
  
  
• Organize and maintain shelter storage areas.
